Raw nuts are one of the most nutritious foods you can eat. Not only do they provide protein, but they also contain, fibre, vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium, manganese and copper – elements required by the human body.

Raw nuts are also loaded with antioxidants. One study has shown that walnuts have a greater capacity to neutralize free radicals (unstable molecules that can cause cell damage and increase the risk of disease) than eating a diet of fish does. They can also lower your ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol levels.

Raw nuts are an excellent snack alternative for growing children. Your kids will soon develop a much healthier habit of snacking on them instead of sugary or salty snack foods. They are also excellent sources of protein for those on a vegan or keto diet.
